Set of 2 round rainbow moonstones with a diameter of approximately 8 mm. The stones are cut in a cabochon shape (domed top, flat back) and are very suitable for making beautiful jewelry.
Rainbow moonstone (a type of feldspar) is sensitive to heat and temperature shocks. At excessively high temperatures, the stone may become dull (loss of iridescent effect), crack, or even break in extreme cases. We therefore recommend setting them afterward in a bezel setting or setting band.
The stones have a beautiful iridescent effect, where colors become visible depending on the angle of the light. Because it is a natural stone, each piece has a unique color and pattern.
