Personal Silver Clay Masterclass in Uden

During this personal Silver Clay Masterclass, you will learn exactly what you want to learn. The day is fully tailored to your goals, wishes and preferred techniques, from design to finishing.

At Atelier Joy for Art in Uden, North Brabant, you will work at your own pace in a small setting with individual attention. This makes the masterclass suitable for both beginners and advanced students.

Whether you already have experience with silver clay or are just starting out, this masterclass offers a clear learning curve, practical guidance and in-depth knowledge. You will work in a small group of 1 to 2 people with intensive, personalized support.

If you would like to create a keepsake piece, you will be guided step by step through the creative process, resulting in a meaningful piece of jewelry that is entirely yours.

If you’ve already mastered the basics or would like to take your designs to the next level, we can—depending on your project and interests—also work with more advanced techniques.

Please note: 10 grams of silver clay is included. Some of the techniques and materials listed below may require a small additional fee.

Some of the techniques you can learn at Joy for Art include:

• Keum-boo with 24K gold foil on silver (gold foil not included)
• Creating memorial jewelry with ashes in clay, such as hollow pendants, or in combination with resin
• Silver & resin combinations, also suitable for incorporating hair or ashes
• Making bezel settings for cabochons or gemstones
• Setting stones after firing using various techniques
• Creating hinges from silver clay
• Combining silver with glass for unique effects
• Designing and creating hollow jewelry pieces
• Using photopolymer sheets to create personalized stamps
• Digitizing fingerprints in silver (own laptop required)
• Creating closed hollow pendants from silver clay without a visible opening

These advanced techniques offer a wide range of possibilities to further develop your silver clay creations and enrich your artistic expression. Many more techniques are possible, so feel free to get in touch to discuss your ideas and wishes.

Important Information:

The Silver Clay Masterclass is held in a small setting, for 1 to a maximum of 2 participants.
Dates can be scheduled by arrangement on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
A light lunch, coffee, and tea with treats are provided. (We are familiar with gluten- and lactose-free options.)

The workshop includes:

• 10g of silver clay per person

• Number of participants: 1–2 people

• Lunch, coffee, tea, and treats (please provide dietary requirements when booking)

• Duration: approx. 6–7 hours (10:00 – ~17:00)

• Location: Atelier Joy for Art – Uden, North Brabant

• Date: by arrangement

During the masterclass, you will create a personal piece of jewelry or practice specific techniques, and materials will be adjusted accordingly.

Not included: Gold foil, eyelets, photopolymer sheets, gemstones, zirconia, pearls, chains, enamel, etc., these will be charged separately.
