In this personal Silver Clay Masterclass, you will learn exactly what you want to learn. The day is fully tailored to your goals and techniques—from design to finishing.

Whether you already have experience with silver clay or are just starting out, this masterclass offers a real learning curve and in-depth knowledge. You will work in a small setting (1–2 people) with intensive, personalized guidance.

For a keepsake piece, you will be guided step by step through the creative process, resulting in a fully realized and meaningful piece of jewelry that is entirely yours.

If you’ve already mastered the basics or want to elevate your design to the next level, we can—depending on your project and interests—also work with the following techniques.

Please note: 15 grams of clay is included, but some of the techniques and materials listed below carry a (small) additional cost, for example: natural stones, gold foil, polymer sheets, enamel, etc.

Some of the techniques you can learn at Joy for Art include:

• Keumboo (24K gold foil) on silver

• Creating memorial jewelry with ashes in clay (hollow pendants) or resin

• Silver & resin combinations (also suitable for hair or ashes)

• Making settings for cabochons or gemstones

• Setting stones afterward using various techniques

• Making hinges from silver clay

• Combining silver with glass for unique effects

• Designing and creating hollow jewelry pieces

• Using photopolymer sheets for personalized stamps

• Digitizing fingerprints in silver (own laptop required)

• Making closed hollow pendants from silver clay (without a hole)

• Enameling with Japanese enamel on silver clay

Important Information:

The Silver Clay Masterclass is held in a small setting, for 1 to a maximum of 2 participants.
Dates can be scheduled by arrangement on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
The workshop includes the use of materials and 15 grams of silver clay per person**.
A light lunch, coffee, and tea with treats are provided. (We are familiar with gluten- and lactose-free options.)

Masterclass Price:
1–2 participants: €265 per person (includes 15g silver clay, lunch, coffee, and tea)

** During the masterclass, you will create a personal piece of jewelry or practice specific techniques, and materials will be adjusted accordingly. The standard amount is 15 grams of silver clay, though in some cases less clay or no clay may be used. This will be discussed before or during the workshop.

Not included: If additional materials are used—such as gold foil, eyelets, photopolymer sheets, gemstones, zirconia, pearls, chains, enamel, etc.—these will be charged separately.
