NANO Morganite peach 3mm

Nano gems are a new generation of synthetic stones. These stones are colourfast and heat resistant.
The stones can be placed directly in the clay or with the help of a setting box for the best result.

NOTE: It is important to make a hole (under the stone) in the clay so that light can pass through. The size of the hole should be slightly smaller than the size of the stone. Without a hole, Nano Gems can change color, become cloudy or lose their shine when used with metal clay.

You can do this by letting the clay dry and then drilling a hole with a metal drill by rotating it between your fingers or in a holder. Drill from small to large, e.g. a stone of 5 mm, you first drill all the way through the clay with 1 mm to 4.5 mm. Then drill with 5 until the flat side of the stone is flush with the clay. fill the edge with some paste and clean the stone after drying with a toothpick. And then just bake.

The high thermal shock resistance of Nanogems also makes these small stones ideal for the lost wax casting process. They are also resistant to acids, bases and humidity.

Nanogems have a hardness of 7-7.5 on the Mohs scale and heat resistance up to 1100°C/2012°F.
