The red Radial Disk with grit 220 is designed to soften the marks left by the coarse disc and further smooth the surface. This disc offers a perfect balance between material removal and refinement and forms an essential intermediate step towards a smooth final result.
Suitable for both precious and non-precious metals, with or without surface texture. Ideal for controlled sanding to achieve a clean and uniform surface.
Features & Maintenance
- Always use a minimum of three, but no more than six, discs per mandrel.
- Always place the discs on the mandrel so that the bristles curve opposite (or away) from the direction of rotation. During use, the bristles must not be bent backwards.
Warning: This product may cause exposure to various chemicals, including titanium dioxide, lead and lead compounds, nickel, and crystalline silica (airborne particles of respirable size). The substances released may vary per disc colour. Always use suitable respiratory protection while polishing.
