This yellow Radial Disk sanding disc with grit 80 is designed to remove deep scratches, oxidation and coarse surface imperfections on metal surfaces. Ideal as the first step in the polishing process for silver, gold and other metal jewellery. Provides fast material removal and creates an even base surface for further refinement.
Suitable for use with a Dremel or micromotor. Thanks to the flexible bristle structure, pressure is evenly distributed, allowing controlled sanding without deforming the workpiece.
Features & Maintenance
- Always use a minimum of three, but no more than six, discs per mandrel.
- Always place the discs on the mandrel so that the bristles curve opposite (or away) from the direction of rotation. During use, the bristles must not be bent backwards.
Warning: This product may cause exposure to various chemicals, including titanium dioxide, lead and lead compounds, nickel, and crystalline silica (airborne particles of respirable size). The substances released may vary per disc colour. Always use suitable respiratory protection while polishing.
